Thank you. I like the handle “Veilborn.” This tale was inspired by watching someone fell a tree for me (I included a picture). That reminded me of the Queen song “The Fairy Feller’s Master Stroke” which I didn’t know was inspired by a painting (which I included). I’m not saying I believe in fairies, etc (Ash would be more a sprite or brownie), but if one is attached to a tree, the tree comes under man’s dominion. Also, I wanted to write about a “cursed object”, but what if the object was a “curse” to the “occult?”
