I am sorry for the pushback from admin. There’s is they want and there is what the kids would rather and there is the truth: we should show up with a good attitude and do what we are asked to do and be grateful and remember to enjoy it. I’ve gone some rounds with admin before. But I am a teacher because of the students’ mental health. And because of my mental health experiences. I was told my first year some good advice: a student walks through your classroom door and does not care about what you know or what you expect them to learn, they care about one thing: how are you going to treat them. I got this letter from a senior today.
Thank you. I am presently a high school teacher and a HUGE proponent of mental health. I re-wrote A Christmas Carol from various experiences with mental health and addiction and redemption seeking. It’s called Ex-Max Song in the usual formats on the usual platforms.

Tried three times to attach the picture of the letter I got today from a senior. But it wouldn't take and instead it looks like I responded three times. Lol.

These kids are so strange I'd be afraid of them even if they didn't have a paranormal mojo.
Seeing that you have a Christian background, I initially assumed your "Watcher" was a reference to Genesis 6. That's always a fun topic when hooking up with new believers.
However, this Watcher is a nasty creature of a different sort. So no quotes from The Book of Enoch for this tale.
I tried to reply ealier. Not sure what happened to my post.
"The Watcher" as in that's he what he did for a job when he was alive and now that he's all can do in the afterlife.
I am a Christian, but I a poorly read one. I am aware of the Book of Enoch by reputation and from some commentaries. At some point, I will donate some time to read it, but along with that I would like to study Solomon's knowledge of demonolgy--in keeping it in the realm of research and in not practical application.
Kids need mentors. However "cool" they think they are, they have questions. So, they seek out mentors.
I think my comprehension suffers a bit because I'm clearly nor reading in the proper order. I see something interesting and I start reading without thinking.
From my experience, your participation in a mainstream Protestant church will not necessarily suffer in inverse proportion to your Biblical understanding. Most professing Christians are not Bible scholars and it doesn't seem to hurt them much. Whereas stuffy Bible literalists like myself are hardly ever the best pew companions.
That being said, a word to the wise about Solomon and his supposed knowledge of demonology, which is not mentioned in the Bible. The pseudepigraphical Key of Solomon and associated texts are largely books of black magic and fanciful Hellenistic fairy tales written thousands of years after Solomon's death. I bet you could find a few stories there, but no real information about the actual Hebrew King Solomon.
See? That's what I mean. A lot of people find such unsolicited advice annoying. You, of course, have every right to ignore it. Since I don't really know you, my feelings will not be hurt, and you can still amaze (more likely bore) your friends with your new understanding of pseudepigrapha.
The Watcher as for the job in both his previous life and afterlife.
I know of the Book of Enoch by reputation and of some commentary. One must also be familiar with Solomon’s familiarity with demonology as well for purposes of study. I am a Christian, but a poorly trained one. I was a history major in college, but some history appears to be “hidden” or kept of sight, probably in the Vatican archives.
Since the Book of Enoch is quoted twice in the New Testament and was known to the ancient rabbis and scholars, I should donate the time to reading it and then perhaps studying it.
@Salustiano Berrios thank you for the like!!

It was fun anyway.

Thank you for time, consideration, and comments.
